What is RTI?
RTI, or Response to Intervention, is the periodic gathering of data, derived from assessments, measuring individual academic or behavioral progress toward essential benchmarks. Assessments can be simple observations or formal written exams. When the student's progress flat-lines, intervention strategies intensify, and the student is moved to another level, or tier. RTI provides the dynamic focus for purposeful, explicit, intensive intervention strategies for your at-risk students.
